Paolo Favero is a visual anthropologist and image-maker. Associate Professor in Film Studies and Visual Culture at the Department of Communication Studies, University of Antwerp. Paolo has devoted the core of his career to the study of visual culture in India and Italy. Presently conducts research on image-making practices in contemporary India. Paolo is also an active image-maker. He has authored several photographic exhibitions, video installations, live performances and films.
